Zac Talbott Joins ReVIDA Recovery® Centers as Director of Clinical Services

Zac TalbottNASHVILLE, Tenn. – ReVIDA Recovery® Centers CEO Lee Dilworth announced today the addition of Zachary Talbott as director of clinical services. In this role, Talbott has been tasked with developing and implementing a comprehensive behavioral health program within ReVIDA’s seven outpatient clinics in Tennessee and Virginia.

Talbott is a native of East Tennessee and received his undergraduate education at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. He received his graduate education in clinical social work from Walden University.

Talbott is a leader in the MAT space in Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee. In 2013, he affiliated the Southeastern U.S. regional chapter of the National Alliance for Medication Assisted Recovery (NAMA) after having directed NAMA Recovery’s efforts in Tennessee since 2008. He continues to serve on the national board of directors of NAMA Recovery. Talbott has provided operational, policy, compliance, and clinical consulting for opioid treatment programs (OTPs) and office based opioid treatment (OBOT) providers across six U.S. states, and he is proficient in the behavioral health accreditation standards of The Joint Commission and CARF International. He has been sought after as a speaker for a variety of national, regional, and state-level conferences. In 2015, Talbott founded Counseling Solutions Treatment Centers and opened outpatient opioid treatment programs in Georgia and North Carolina. Counseling Solutions Treatment Centers were later acquired by BayMark Health Services/MedMark Treatment Centers. Talbott continues to serve as a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors for the Alcohol & Drug Abuse Certification Board of Georgia (ADACBGA), and he serves as a Planning Partner for the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). This October, Talbott will receive the Richard Lane/Robert Holden Patient Advocacy Award at the 2019 Conference of the American Association for the Treatment of Opioid Dependence (AATOD) in Orlando, Florida.

Talbott holds various credentials in addiction counseling, medication assisted treatment, e-therapy, and clinical supervision from state and international credentialing and licensing boards. Talbott is an Internationally Certified Clinical Supervisor (ICCS) through the International Certification & Reciprocity Consortium (IC&RC), providing recognition in 48 U.S. states and territories, four Native American regions, all branches of the U.S. military, and 11 international regions. Achieving the ICCS credential requires a professional to demonstrate competency in the clinical supervision of alcohol and drug abuse counselors through experience, education, supervision, and the passing of a rigorous examination.
