According to the Tennessee Department of Health, 2,388 overdose deaths in 2020 were caused by opioids, with Northeast Tennessee leading the state in the rate of overdoses. In neighboring Virginia, 2,223 people died of overdoses related to opioids in 2021. In Tennessee alone, a report from the University of Tennessee Boyd Center for Business and Economic Research details how the opioid epidemic has harmed the workforce participation rate, costing Tennesseans billions in personal income, and how communities across the region have suffered.

As a licensed Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Center, ReVIDA physicians are trained addiction specialists that bring the latest science and highest ethical standards focused on your health. We employ the best treatments for helping with addiction and work to heal the body, mind, and spirit on your path to recovery.
Addiction is a disease that affects everyone. Although the current epidemic is a part of the national conversation, there is still a stigma associated with Opioid Use Disorder that is a result of ill-informed and assumptive ideas. At ReVIDA, we work with regional and national partners to understand the disease, the causal influences and best practices for overcoming addictions associated with pain medications and other opioids. Our communities are at risk and together, we can make a difference.
As a licensed Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) center, ReVIDA’s support teams understand the real challenge is what happens outside the office. Everyone has a unique story, and each life has aspects that are different than any other. As a comprehensive support team, we offer professional care using a multi-disciplinary approach. We also work together with our patients to encourage regular group support systems.
