Conquer Opioid Use Disorder at ReVIDA® Recovery Fountain City
In 2023, 519 people in Knoxville died of an overdose. Synthetic opioids, like fentanyl, were the most common substance associated with these deaths. At ReVIDA® Recovery, we believe that providing affordable, effective medication-assisted treatment for OUD is the best way to lower these numbers and protect the people in our community.
When it comes to recovering from opioid use disorder (OUD), we know that the path isn’t always easy, but we promise that it is worth it. OUD doesn’t develop in a vacuum, and you’re doing your best to handle everything going on in your life. With the right support, we’re confident that an opioid-free future is in your sights.
Each of our patients has a unique story, and we know that’s true for you, too. That’s why we’ll work with you to craft an individualized treatment plan that utilizes a combination of Suboxone or Sublocade, as well as individual therapy and group therapy.
Recovery isn’t just about empowering you to end your opioid consumption; it’s also about ensuring that you have the tools you need to build a future that you want. That’s why our program is designed to address both the physical and emotional aspects of recovery.
We don’t want your finances to be the deciding factor in whether or not you receive quality treatment. That’s why we accept TennCare as well as most commercial insurances. In 2025, we launched our Treatment for All program, which ensures that Tennessee residents who have limited resources or are experiencing financial hardship can receive free, effective treatment at all of our Tennessee locations, including Fountain City.
Suboxone or Sublocade Treatment Near Fountain City Can Empower You to Take Your Life Back
If you’re living with OUD, you know that the condition doesn’t develop all at once. If you’re like most people, you felt like you were in control of your opioid consumption, at least in the beginning. Over time, that changes.
When you take opioids, they attach to the opioid receptors in your brain. This causes the brain to block out pain and produce excessive amounts of dopamine. Dopamine is what causes intense levels of happiness or even euphoria.
Dopamine plays a crucial role in the brain’s reward center. Usually, dopamine is released when you’re doing something you enjoy, like eating your favorite meal or spending an afternoon with your best friend. These high levels of dopamine make you want to repeat pleasurable activities.
When you take opioids, the dopamine levels in your brain get so high that the amount your brain naturally produces doesn’t compare. This causes the flu-like symptoms of withdrawal that occur when you stop taking opioids. In an attempt to avoid withdrawal symptoms and satiate the cravings that come with them, many people return to opioid use.
Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) empowers you to avoid this pitfall. Suboxone and Sublocade both work by drastically reducing the intensity of your withdrawal symptoms and curbing your cravings. With the assistance of MAT, you can start working on the root causes of your OUD faster.
Treatment at ReVIDA® Recovery, a World-Class Suboxone Clinic Near Fountain City
When you begin treatment at our Fountain City location, you’ll meet with multiple members of your care team to ensure that you’re receiving the highest quality of care possible. These meetings typically last between 15 and 50 minutes, depending on what you need to discuss. When you start treatment, you’ll meet with 3 key people:
- Your MAT doctor. During your initial appointment, your doctor will perform a physical exam. The two of you will decide together if Suboxone, which is a daily film or tablet, or Sublocade, which is a once-monthly shot, is the right treatment option for you. Your doctor will also be able to prescribe you any additional medications you need for a successful recovery.
- Your care coordinator. Most of our care coordinators are nurses or nurse practitioners. Your care coordinator will work to connect you with the resources you need outside of treatment. This could include helping you apply for SNAP benefits, finding adequate housing, accessing employment opportunities, and more.
- Your licensed therapist. Therapy is a key part of healing. Your therapist, who specializes in treating people living with opioid use disorder, will empower you to deal with any trauma you have experienced. You’ll identify the emotions and actions that lead you to opioid consumption so you can develop healthier coping skills, resulting in improved behavioral outcomes and a better quality of life.
Outpatient (OP) Treatment and MAT in Fountain City, TN
Throughout your outpatient treatment journey with ReVIDA® Recovery, you’ll have a doctor who truly listens to you and prioritizes your needs. During your recurring visits, you’ll discuss your dosages, any side effects you may experience, and how well you feel your medication is working. Your doctor will be able to adjust your medication as needed throughout your time at our Fountain City, TN, clinic.
Individual therapy will also play a major role in your outpatient treatment. Your therapist will utilize evidence-based techniques, like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Using this method, you and your therapist will identify the relationship between your thoughts, feelings, and actions so that you can identify problem thinking and change outcomes.
You’ll also take part in group therapy sessions with other patients who are also receiving MAT. This creates a safe, judgment-free space for you to develop a community of people who are working towards the same goal you are. You’ll be able to support each other through difficult periods and celebrate wins together.
