Randy Durbin, D.O., M.S.P.H. Joins ReVIDA Recovery® Centers as Tennessee Medical Director

JOHNSON CITY, TN – ReVIDA Recovery® Centers Founder and CEO Lee Dilworth today announced Randy Durbin, D.O., M.S.P.H. as Medical Director for Tennessee. Before joining ReVIDA Recovery®, Dr. Durbin served as the Vice President of Medical Affairs and Federal Programs for Karna, LLC, leading the Federal Health, Commercial Healthcare and Population Health Management Divisions.
As ReVIDA Recovery® Tennessee Medical Director, Dr. Durbin will oversee ReVIDA Recovery® medical operations in locations throughout the Volunteer State including Johnson City, Knoxville, Morristown, and Newport. Dr. Durbin has an extensive healthcare background of over 26 years and has experience directly supervising more than 100 physicians and advanced practice providers in 20 occupational and urgent care centers throughout the Southeast, including centers in Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, and Tennessee. In his most recent role, he worked with commercial health payers, healthcare delivery systems, and government/non-government systems, including CDC, CMS, HRSA, SAMHSA.

According to the CDC Provisional Drug Overdose Death Counts, more than 90,000 Americans died from drug-involved overdose in 2020. 3,091 of those were Tennesseans, an increase of 44.1 percent from 2019. In 2019, among individuals with substance use disorder aged 12 or older, only 1.5 percent received any substance use disorder treatment in the past year.
