Phillips brings nearly 30 years in addiction treatment management and expansion.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – ReVIDA Recovery Centers Founder and CEO Lee Dilworth today announced Greg Phillips as Chief Operating Officer. Before ReVIDA, Phillips served as Senior Vice President at Pinnacle Treatment Centers where he oversaw a $200 million budget, managed over 40 addiction treatment centers, and directed the addition of 18 treatment centers to the company’s footprint.
As ReVIDA’s COO, Phillips will lead ReVIDA’s seven outpatient treatment centers throughout East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. He will also oversee ReVIDA’s growth strategy and potential expansion to new markets. Phillips has an extensive background with nearly 30 years in addiction treatment, working for companies with a range of residential, in-patient, and outpatient treatment centers in Tennessee and nationwide.
“Greg brings invaluable insights as a veteran in addiction treatment who has seen first-hand how the subspecialty has grown to where it is today,” said ReVIDA Recovery Centers Founder and CEO Lee Dilworth. “We are confident that his expertise in operating and managing a wide swath of treatment centers will bring a fresh perspective and allow ReVIDA to continue to support our patients as they reclaim their lives from opioid use disorder.”
According to the 2019 National Survey on Drug Use and Health, just 18.1 percent of the 1.6 million people aged 12 or older who struggle with opioid use disorder were able to access life-saving medication-assisted treatment in the past year. From March 2015 to March 2019, the number of Tennesseans receiving buprenorphine as a part of their substance use treatment increased to 7,558 people, an increase of 541 percent.
“ReVIDA applies the best industry practices to assist those who live with opioid use disorder,” said ReVIDA Recovery Centers COO Greg Phillips. “I look forward to joining this team and to helping fulfill ReVIDA’s mission to deliver clinical excellence for patients throughout East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.”
“As the standard-bearer for evidence-based treatment for opioid use disorder in East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia, ReVIDA relies on a strong leadership team that is ready to help expand access to opioid treatment and provide the best possible care to our patients” said ReVIDA Recovery Centers Board Chair Martin Rash. “Greg’s wealth of knowledge and strong background in addiction treatment management will ensure ReVIDA is ready to take the next step.”
